Title: Vice President of the Student Body
Job Description: I work closely with the president of the student body to help provide resources and services for the students. I fill in with meetings with the administrators and any other groups or organizations that the president is unable to attend. In the fall I am in charge of planning the Purple Out event during homecoming as well as organize and execute the Mr. and Ms. Madison program. During the school year I regularly attend Senate meetings every Tuesday as well as Executive meetings on Thursdays. I am also in charge of the Class Council officers and oversee their programs and provide resources and support for them to carry out their events. We hold meetings every other week.
Most effective campaign tactic: I think that my most effective campaign tactic was talking to the right people and making sure I got my facts straight before I made promises and statements. I was informed on all of the things I spoke about to the students and during the debate that I think it helped show my seriousness and commitment to the organization and my position.
