With the spring 2012 semester upon us, SGA finds itself in crunch time. We are working diligently to deliver results from Student Engagement Week where YOU told us that you wanted us to work on Financial Aid, Transportation and Technology. We were also approached by administration to add Academic Rigor to our list of things to focus on.
Respective committees within the organization were tasked with using their resources and connections to begin reaching out to administrators they believed could help them attain their goals. Each group is charged to come up with one plan they can implement by the end of the semester, as well as one plan they would like to see accomplished in the long-term.
Our recent spring retreat allowed the entire organization to help create, focus, and define ideas to take back to administrators. We came up with some great goals for the end of the semester, and we are confident that we can get everything done. Since we are in the planning stages still, keep checking back to see our updates!
